Privacy Policy

This policy describes how NovaScope (“we”) handles information on the hosted service at app.novascope.io. It is written for visitors and customers — not as an operator runbook. It is not legal advice.

Who this covers

NovaScope is a hosted local SEO and AI visibility audit workspace. You (the customer) are responsible for the client and business data you enter. If you send reports to clients, your own privacy notice and contracts still apply.

Information we store

• Account email and sign-in session after purchase or complimentary audit signup
• Workspace settings, including branding you add for white-label exports
• Audit records you create (business name, domain, NAP, scan results, AI visibility findings, and generated report text)
• Billing status from Stripe so we can confirm an active license or subscription

Cookies

We set HttpOnly cookies for a signed login session and, where used, license confirmation. We do not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this marketing site.

API providers

Audits may query third-party services such as Google Gemini, SerpAPI, PageSpeed Insights, and optional SEO/NAP providers. On bring-your-own-keys (BYOK) plans, those calls use keys you paste in Settings and send only what that scan needs (for example a public URL, search query, or page snippet). We do not ask you to email API secrets.

Complimentary scans

The free trial at /try requires an email and consent. That scan is watermarked. We use the email to run and return the audit, not to sell a list.
